Solid wood is one timber all the way through — the heaviest, strongest, and most expensive. Semi-solid has a solid wood frame with panels inside — lighter and cheaper, and right for most rooms. Engineered has an engineered core with a real wood surface — the lightest and most affordable, and it resists warping in changing weather. We help you choose per room and per budget.

Because wood takes in moisture and swells when the air is humid. A well-made door uses properly seasoned wood and is hung with a small gap, so it moves far less. If a door we made sticks within two years, we come and ease it — free.

A door takes about 2 days, or 2 to 3 days for solid wood. A kitchen takes about a week. A wardrobe takes 3 to 5 days. These are typical times, not promises — your exact date is written into your quote.

Yes. Send us a photo of a design you have seen and we will tell you honestly whether we can make it and what it will cost. Most wooden designs we can build, or come very close.

No — you buy the material and pay the supplier directly. We tell you exactly what to buy and where, and we inspect it when it arrives. This keeps the cost in the open, with nothing marked up by us.

No. We take no commission from any supplier — not the wood merchant, not the hardware shop. Ever. You pay only for the making, so we have no reason to steer you toward one shop over another.

Local fittings are cheaper and fine for everyday use. Chinese fittings cost more but move more smoothly and last longer — worth it for a kitchen or wardrobe you open many times a day. We advise you item by item; the choice stays yours.

Measure the thickness with a tape, look at the cut edge for even layers with no gaps or hollows, and press the surface — good ply does not dent easily. We check all of this for you when the material arrives, and tell you before we start if anything is wrong.

Two years on our workmanship. If a joint opens, a door drops out of alignment, a hinge fails, or something we fitted comes loose, we repair it free. Damage from water, heat, damp, or misuse is not covered, but we will still come and repair it at a fair charge. The warranty is with AyFa, not passed to a supplier.

Yes. The visit to measure your space is free, with no obligation. We measure in person because wrong measurements are the commonest reason woodwork goes wrong.

Yes — this is a large part of what we do. You approve the design from abroad, then watch the work through dated photos on a private link, and release payments in stages against photos you have already seen. One person, Awais, handles it on WhatsApp from start to finish.
